I'm sure that a white version of the Alfa 4C is in the works from the boys in orange, but I couldn't wait for it, and decided to make my own! It came out pretty well, though I would like to see it with some proper tampos instead of just silver paint. Here it is posed with some friends.

Matchbox Morgan Aeromax Custom
I was sitting in my work area looking at all the extra cars I've procured for customs over the years, and my eyes fell to this little beauty. One of my favorite modern cars, and definitely a favorite small scale casting. I couldn't believe I hadn't done anything with it! I've had the privilege to see one of these in person, and they are stunning machines. Best looking car I've seen in a long time. (Please ignore my bias towards British automobiles :D)
I've always been a little disappointed that Matchbox never produced the Morgan in its best color, so I decided to! Off to the paint shop..
And I can't find my bottle of red paint, before you ask about the rear end... lol

Lesney #30a - Ford Prefect Restoration
Good evening! The car I have to share with you tonight was quite literally the easiest restoration I have ever done. It came to me already drilled out, and the paint pretty much all already stripped off. All I had to do was sand away the remaining paint, throw some new color on it, and BAM!
The rear suspension is sitting a little low, because the trailer hitch, and the entire rear of the chassis is broken off! But it still sits and displays well, so I left it all alone. I chose the new color to mirror the rare light blue variation this car could be had in.
The one other Prefect in my collection:

Lesney #47a - Trojan Brooke Bond Tea Van Restoration
If you enjoyed my last post of the Dunlop van, maybe you'll enjoy this one too! This restoration is another early Lesney delivery van, but this time it's delivering tea. How very British. :)
It wasn't in too bad condition when I got it, but it can always be better.

And after a coat of paint and decals, here it is now:

Lesney #25a - Bedford Dunlop Van Restoration
Ok back on form now, with nice a Lesney restoration :)
This was one that came from the big lot my girlfriend got me for my birthday earlier in the year. It sported one of the better kiddie paint jobs that I've seen, but to go on my display shelf, it needed to be brought back to original.

Revell Ferrari 360 Modena Spider Model Kit
Every now and then, I branch out from Lesneys and 1/64 diecast. I dabble in the world of plastic model kits, though not very often. This Ferrari has been an on again/off again project for a couple years now. I finally got it done!! It's far from perfect, but it'll display pretty well.
